Construction Materials

The Construction Materials Testing and Inspection Department has a wide range of technical ability and experience. We provide materials testing for all types of residential and commercial land development projects. We also provide civil inspection services and testing for electrical substation construction and proposed transmission lines. These services consist of soil and asphalt compaction testing, drilled pier inspections, concrete field and compressive strength testing, and reinforced concrete inspection. We maintain an accredited materials laboratory through the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP), which is inspected independently to ensure compliance with AAP.  View our complete list of laboratory accreditations here: AASHTOresource.org Accreditation
